E-Heart Lashes Review!!! <3

This brand of lashes were designed by a lot of popular beauty bloggers such as Nancy Chen and Yui and produced by E-Hsin Liu. As most of us would be pouring out our wallets on a box of Dolly Wink lashes that only come with two pairs, this is a high quality box of 5 lashes for the price of roughly $18.00 aud!!!

If you’ve read some of my previous posts, I have paired some of these lashes with the lenses/ makeup that I wore while I was overseas~

There’s different boxes you can get with these awesome pretty fluffs- you can get your hands on the limited type that comes with a mixture of the lashes OR you can get the box set of the specific type of lashes. :]

At first I was a bit afraid of using some of the lashes because they looked heaps huge. I’ve had bad past experiences where I purchased some big lashes from Priceline (Aus popular drugstore) and well- I looked like a clown. Ever since then I never reached for big lashes and have been afraid of them. But with these I decided to give it another go! And to my surprise it went really good!!!

The pair that i’m going to show in today’s review is Angel Eye from the limited type 01 collection. Usually I reach for something that looks more spread out and natural so I thought this would look kinda weird on me. But it didn’t. In fact it gave me a really nice boost to making my eyes look extremely big and dolly without looking scary!

This is the Limited Type 01 box set:

These are the lashes by themselves.

Sooooo as you can see they’re kinda huge!!! Would’nt of expected that my eyes were able to carry it! The thing about these lashes is that they’re quite durable so you’ll be able to get more wears off these lashes than the Dolly Wink ones. The lashbands are thicker so when you’re cleaning them, they won’t break as easily or let the lashes slide around the band as easily either. :D!!! The only downside to them for me is that they’re not as soft as the Dolly wink lashes. They’re definitely more dramatic and seem a little bit less natural- but for durability and cost price wise I think it’s definitely worth it. Especially if you’re going for an event or to a cosplay shoot, these lashes will definitely last throughout the day of wear’n’tear and give you a massive lash boost.

Here’s the look that I paired these lashes with today 🙂

I hope you guys liked the review : ) These lashes are great for price and quality. ^~^v! A good buy if you don’t wanna spend a fortune on lashes but still wanting to get that same dolly eye look! I got mine from FashionEye.

Take care and keep smiling!!!

Nana Suzuki’s Inspired pinky look!

Hellooo everyone~ today i’ve been inspired by Nana Suzuki’s pink shadows and decided to replicate it coz it was kind of cute~ Yes i’m still in my stage of loving bright colours. So here’s the look:

Image

Yyayy let’s start:~

Image

1. Prime, conceal, and apply your bb cream/ cc cream/ foundation! Then prime your eyelids!

2. Apply a light purple all over your lids. (the circled area)

3. Now take a pink and blend it into your crease!

4. Take a shimmery white and blend it into your brow bone for highlighting. Also apply this on your inner corners.

Image

5. Bring the shimmery white and pat it across the inner half of your lower lash line.

6. Take a really bright pink and line it across the other half of your lash line and wing it out.

7. Line your eyes! Don’t forget the waterlines! Apply mascara

8. Apply your falsies and fill in your brows~

Black & Yellow Contrast crease cut makeup tutorial!

How are we all doing!? Hope all is well ❤ Last night I decided to attempt to do a crease cut look for the very first time. Lately I’ve been really loving bright colours with a bit of contrast over soft looks. I think this look was a little harder than usual. I have asian eyes and there’s a lot of looks that need to be adjusted since I have an EXTREMELY FLAT facial features + a really small round bubbly face. Here’s the close up shot of the eyelids.

Image Let’s get started!

Image

1. Starting off with a clean face, moisturise, prime and equate out imperfections with some color correcting. Apply your concealer and fav foundation!

2. Get your eyes ready with some eye primer~

3. Take a bright yellow and gently pad and build up the colour over your entire lid. Tip: You may find that if you mix 2 different yellows it will give you a more 3D look/ more intense colour)

4. Pat that yellow on your waterline and under-eye area too!

Image

5. Now take either a black pencil liner or a gel liner and mark out where your crease is. Create an elongated outer V so when you line your eyes it will connect into a lovely cat flick.

6. After marking it out, take a black shadow and build up the intensity of the black all the way up to the brows for that Egyptian kinda look. You may choose to do less and have the black fade out into the browbone for a more wearable look!

Image

7. Fill in your brows and line your eyes! Top off the eyeliner with a liquid liner for a more defined line.

8. Contour your face, apply falsies!

9. I finished off with a bright pink lip. And you’re done! ❤

Here’s the completed look while wearing my fav blonde wig xD!

March of the Swallowtail Makeup

Hi everyone! Its a really pretty day today here in the southern parts of the world~ Hope you’re  all able to find something to be thankful about : )

Last night I had a sudden hunch to get up and do something to my face again. A friend of mine wanted me to do some dramatic makeup so I was just working over some concepts. I think i’ve settled down with the Pipevine Swallowtail butterfly. Beautiful blues across its wings and a slight silver sparkle and an occasional hint of bright yellow.

Unfortunately it was getting really late so I didnt’ get to take individual shots for the tutorial. But the steps are pretty much the same to my

DE ROSE OF DÍA DE LOS MUERTOS- DAY OF THE DEAD MAKEUP!

tutorial :P.

Here’s the look!

Removing all that Fake Eyelashes and Eyelid Glue!!!

I wanted to post this tomorrow but then my someone went to hog the toilet while i went to remove my eyelashes… and upon that, this post might be as important to you girls or boys out there as it is to me. If you’re one of the many ladies and gentlemen out there who love their fake eyelashes and eyelid glues but get super annoyed at removing them EVERY SINGLE TIME because its JUST SO HARD TO, then this is for you!

So, I Have this love hate relationship with fake eyelashes and eyelid glue. I like them because they make my eyes humungo. I hate them because its annoying to remove- with everything and anything at some point you still have to rub n scrub- yet that gluey stuff still remains! And we all know that it leads to saggy eyelids later down the road of ageing- and we wanna prevent that! Not only that! But also cleaning these ugly little hairy things become such a chore…

So goodbye rubbing eyes and here’s a thing i found that might be your solution as well!Image

So without further ado-! I present you le tsukemagic point make-up remover! cha-changg! (Bought this from sasa.com)

Image

Yeah so with this its a lot easier to remove eyelashes and eyelid glue. What I do is:

  1. Soak cotton pad with the stuff and place it over my eye so it starts dissolving the makeup/ glue.
  2. Gently massage down the falsies and remove.
  3. Soak a cotton tip/Q-tip with the solution and roll over glue-ey areas until removed. (You may need 2-3 q-tips and repeat the steps until its really clean)
  4. You’re ready to remove the rest of your makeup!!!
  5. Cleaning the hairy things: take a cotton pad and fold. Place the lashes into the pad with the lashes facing the open side of the pad. Gently hold onto the lashes and with one half of the pad, push from the lash band where the glue is towards the closed side of the pad.

Nice’n’clean without using your fingers that might damage your skin! : D

Hope this helped!
