E-Heart Lashes Review!!! <3

This brand of lashes were designed by a lot of popular beauty bloggers such as Nancy Chen and Yui and produced by E-Hsin Liu. As most of us would be pouring out our wallets on a box of Dolly Wink lashes that only come with two pairs, this is a high quality box of 5 lashes for the price of roughly $18.00 aud!!!

If you’ve read some of my previous posts, I have paired some of these lashes with the lenses/ makeup that I wore while I was overseas~

There’s different boxes you can get with these awesome pretty fluffs- you can get your hands on the limited type that comes with a mixture of the lashes OR you can get the box set of the specific type of lashes. :]

At first I was a bit afraid of using some of the lashes because they looked heaps huge. I’ve had bad past experiences where I purchased some big lashes from Priceline (Aus popular drugstore) and well- I looked like a clown. Ever since then I never reached for big lashes and have been afraid of them. But with these I decided to give it another go! And to my surprise it went really good!!!

The pair that i’m going to show in today’s review is Angel Eye from the limited type 01 collection. Usually I reach for something that looks more spread out and natural so I thought this would look kinda weird on me. But it didn’t. In fact it gave me a really nice boost to making my eyes look extremely big and dolly without looking scary!

This is the Limited Type 01 box set:

These are the lashes by themselves.

Sooooo as you can see they’re kinda huge!!! Would’nt of expected that my eyes were able to carry it! The thing about these lashes is that they’re quite durable so you’ll be able to get more wears off these lashes than the Dolly Wink ones. The lashbands are thicker so when you’re cleaning them, they won’t break as easily or let the lashes slide around the band as easily either. :D!!! The only downside to them for me is that they’re not as soft as the Dolly wink lashes. They’re definitely more dramatic and seem a little bit less natural- but for durability and cost price wise I think it’s definitely worth it. Especially if you’re going for an event or to a cosplay shoot, these lashes will definitely last throughout the day of wear’n’tear and give you a massive lash boost.

Here’s the look that I paired these lashes with today 🙂

I hope you guys liked the review : ) These lashes are great for price and quality. ^~^v! A good buy if you don’t wanna spend a fortune on lashes but still wanting to get that same dolly eye look! I got mine from FashionEye.

Take care and keep smiling!!!

The Dolly Eye: Icy Melon (Honey Brown) Lens review!!!

I’ve been really loving these lenses. At first when I looked at the design it kind of freaked me out because it didn’t seem so natural in photographs- and the colour… well the colour seemed a bit odd. But after some thinking and then mustering up the courage to get them it was all well worth it. I really love these lenses! They’re comfy and makes you look like a dreamy doll~ LOL.

This is what they look like in the case.

Image

The lenses are from The Dolly Eye’s Icy Melon series. They come in pink, violet, green, blue, honey brown and grey. 14.8mm in diameter and 38% water content.

Pros: It’s simple, It’s odd because its so different from other lenses but makes your eyes look dreamy. If you have brown eyes, the honey brown makes your eyes look like its gradating in colour which looks quite pretty~ It draws more attention to your real iris rather than the lens itself. Perfect for a wintry princess sort of look. The colour opacity is quite strong so there’s no need to be afraid of it not showing. (For those who are worried if the colour doesn’t show up for cosplay or other purposes). The regular diameter of the lenses and its simple design make them really comfortable to wear. I tend to find lenses with a lot more design a lot thicker and irritating to wear >W<!

Cons: If you pick a colour that contrasts with your eye colour then i’m afraid it’ll look quite unnatural and probably even pretty bad. I think this lens look best if you try and match it with your real eye colour or if not- you’ll really have to match it with a makeup look or else it’ll look weird. Another thing you want to keep in mind is whether or not how big your real pupil is. Because the design is only on the outer edges of the lens and fades in, if you have really small pupils then some eyewhite might show before the design reaches your pupils :L!!!

Other than that there’s not much that i didn’t like about these lens!!! The right colour can really bring out the original colour of your eyes and looked more natural than I thought they’d be~ :D!

This is what they look like without eye makeup:

Sweet Pink themed nails~

Hiiii. The other day my friends came over and after doing some home cooking we painted our nails. LOL! My friend kindly helped me out and did some of the designs on my fingers because i’m so clumsy >W<.
We found some cupcake and candy nails and thought they were awesome and tried to do it ourselves with limited items…- toothpick as a dotting tool and just the brush from the bottle. My nails were getting pretty long so I had to cut them ><

I think i’ll do more cupcakes next time… they look so yummy *_*!!!

Everyday Brown Eyes Makeup!~

It’s been a while that i’ve made a tutorial >< But today I’ve finally finished what I wanted to post up last week but didn’t get the chance to~ This is a look i’ve been doing quite a lot and I think it still gives you a pretty nice large eye effect 🙂 Im quite excited about my new set of travel brushes~ They’re by Rebecca Bonbon and the set came in a cute case too!! They were doing a promotion while I was in HK so I bought this lovely set for roughly $30AUD. They’re not as soft as my Picasso/ Sigma brushes but soft enough and don’t scratch or malt. PLUS THEY’RE PINK! Okay anyways… >: D

Pic 1: Jill Stuart eyeshadow in 01 Nudy Venus *i love it sooo much!!! and Jill Stuart pressed powder in 103 Nude.

Steps!!!

Image

1. Start off with a clean face. Tone and moisturise~

2. Prime the face with Porefessional and conceal blemishes with Boiing~

3. Then apply the BB cream and set with pressed powder. (I used the Jill Stuart one instead of the benefit one)

Image

4. Prime the eyes with Bobbi Brown’s cream shadow.

5. Then use a small eyeshadow brush and take some of the third shadow colour from the left~

6. Sweep this gently across the top lashline and outer half of the bottom half. Repeat this step with the darkest colour but go even closer towards your lashline to create a gradient effect with the browns~

Image

7. Line your eyes with a black shadow and then (optional) use the thinnest liner brush you have and apply the gel liner as thinly as you can on your lashline.

8. Apply the topaz eyeliner to the bottom waterline to brighten up the eyes~

9. Curl and apply mascara~

Image

 10. Contour the face/nose with some of the brown contouring/ eyebrow colours from the Kate palette.

11. Apply blush in a diagonal direction, parallel to the hollows of your cheek bones~

12.Using the small fluffy end of the brush provided in the Kate palette, apply the darkest colour and blend it into your eye sockets. This makes your eye folds appear bigger and more defined~

13. Also with the same palette, fix your brows if needed.

14. Apply a lip tint and a little bit of clear gloss if needed~

*quickly runs off to fix bed hair

Finished :D!

Matcha Latte Nails!!!

If you have read some of the previous nail art that i’ve been attempting at, well I’ve picked up more of Beauty World’s nail polish in Hong Kong!!! This week i’ve been really loving these matcha latte inspired nails~ It was hard to do- but only due to the blending and making the layers between the green and the milk tea colour look natural. I also love the finish of these nail polishes because they look a bit glossier than most normal nail polish that require using a top coat to give it that shine.

These 3 colours came in one set~

Annd the result :D!!!

Yayy 😀 I thought these were really cute. Let me know what you think!!! 😀
